A compact and intimate interfacial contact between the modified film conducting electrode is crucial for electrochemical biosensors. The direct drop-casting of nanomaterials onto working often fails to construct a arrangement, which results in sluggish kinetics. Here, we describe simple cost-effective strategy produce CuO nanostructure using hydrothermal route. in-situ growth allowed formation highly ordered interconnected network sharp flakes configured form large spheres with excellent ITO surface coverage. nanostructures were electrochemically active toward oxidation β–adrenergic agonists, i.e., formoterol fumarate (FF). analytical ability was studied by comparison behavior based its glassy carbon counterpart. binder-less CuO-based successfully determined FF detection window 0.01 µM 0.46 practical application real broiler feed samples collected from local poultry farms Hyderabad, Pakistan.
